Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 14 to 16 January 2025. Intersec is the largest security show in the Middle East, and this year Inrico took stand SA-I31 with its partner in the region, the Abdulrahman Al-Shareef Group (AAG).
Ahead of the show, Inrico asked whether we could send someone from South Africa to help on the stand. Keagan Meiring, one of our directors, flew to Dubai and worked alongside the Inrico team from China and the AAG team for all three days.

What was on the stand
Inrico brought radios from both of its ranges. The mission-critical line was the IRC590, the IRC380 and the S350. The business line took in the T330 and T338, the S380, the S300 Plus and the S300 Pro. Behind them, the iConvNet platform ran command and dispatch on the big screens.
- IRC590. A military-grade PoC radio, rated IP68 and tested to MIL-STD-810H, for places where radios get dropped, soaked and covered in dust.
- IRC380. Two PTT buttons, one for DMR and one for 4G, so a team can switch between narrowband and broadband without going into a menu. A one-click toolbox button sits alongside.
- S350. A rugged smart radio that carries push-to-talk over 5G.
- S300 Pro. A PoC radio with a built-in barcode scanner, made for logistics and warehouse work.
- T330 and T338. A full keypad and a professional finish, for teams that want phone calls and two-way radio on one device.
Three days of demonstrations
Most of the work on a stand is conversation. Keagan helped the Inrico and AAG teams run demonstrations, put radios in visitors’ hands and explain how push-to-talk over cellular works: no repeaters to build, coverage wherever the mobile network reaches, and a dispatcher who can see every radio on a map.

Visitors wanted to know how the radios would work on their own sites and networks, and what it takes to set up a control room. We hear the same questions from security companies, municipal teams and logistics fleets back home, so Keagan could explain how Inrico systems are rolled out in practice, and the AAG team could add what that looks like in the Middle East.
Between demonstrations there was time with partners Inrico already works with in the region, and with companies looking at Inrico for the first time.

Why we were there
Inrico South Africa is Inrico’s sole distributor for Africa, and lending a hand at a show like Intersec is part of that relationship. It also puts new radios in front of us before they reach our market, and shows us what customers in other regions are asking for. Both help us decide what to bring to South Africa next.
Thank you to the Inrico and AAG teams for having us, and to everyone who stopped at SA-I31.
